- Think about what you pack.
- Consider that you’ll need all your first aid and safety items including equipment for putting out any fire on your pith
- Remember it gets really dark as the campsite is open countryside – a head touch might be very handy
- Pack sensible shoes – the ground may be uneven in places. We have had a very wet year, the soil then dried hard quick and so the ground is a bit uneven under foot as well as with vehicles. Please take care.
- Remember that sheep and cattle graze the land and so broken glass isn’t good for their feet – so ideally please bring plastic bottles.
- Lastly we suggest you bring your card and cash, as when the phone signal shrink due to the vast crowds, may phones struggle to perform. You might also want to screen print or photograph important stuff before you come.
- Check DRC’s F1 News page for F1 site info, food, shop etc

On Arrival & Pitching on Electric Hook Up
- When you arrive you will be greeted at the main entrance, your booking will be checked and you will then need to proceed to the EHU Office
- En route to the EHU Office you may wish to fill your motor home water at shower block 2 on the left hand side of the track before you climb the hill to the Electric pitches.
- At the EHU Office please STOP & WAIT to be booked in. Please wait for instructions.
- Please note Electric booking in possible from 7am to 9pm only
- Whilst you can pick your own pitch, you MUST fill the Electric Pitches from the furthest point across in each Grid of Pitches – otherwise it is very difficult for later arrivals to manoeuvre into position. Do not leave Empty Pitches.

If you are unsure it’s probably best to ASK!. Wait at EHU Office as EHU staff may be busy helping others. - Fire Safety Advice is that ‘Live In’ Items (Caravan, Tent, Campervan etc) are NOT pitched side by side in case of gas bottle explosion or fire spread.
THIS IS IMPORTANT when you lay out your pitch. - You MUST Keep everything in your 7mx8m electric pitch. Extra cars can be parked elsewhere if needed. You MUST ask where to put these, they should be within 100m
- Filling up your Water – Please wheel water to your pitch once you have pitched it will not be possible to manoeuvre your van once you are pitched.
Please Arrive Full of Water, or if you really must…. please fill up as you arrive at the Second Toilet/Shower Block which you will pass en-route to the Electric Pitches. You need hosepipe to join the taps as we are not allowed to provide these.
