“Perfect location for Silverstone racetrack and great value”

“Stayed here for the MotoGP weekend and so pleased we did. The location is perfect for the track – about 10 minutes walk to get in. We walked into Silverstone village too, which is about 1.5 miles. The campsite is pretty huge so there’s plenty of psace. Toilets and showers are basic but clean and plenty of loo paper! There’s no shop (and no food stalls that I saw) but coffee and bacon sandwiches etc available in the mornings. Nice and quiet here also, no trouble anywhere that we saw. You can choose any spot you like, there aren’t formally allocated areas so you can just choose the kind of spot that suits you. You can park your car right next to your tent which is really handy. Location is also lovely – we drove up through Buckingham so saw all the countryside and avoided the horrible queueing on the A43. Would definitely recommend this as an alternative to queueing for hours to get in and out of the track on raceday. It’s great value for money – we paid £35 for camping and parking for the Saturday & Sunday nights – compared with the £20 that Silverstone itself wanted for parking alone. Would definitely stay here again if we come back next year. Would say very family friendly also – nice atmosphere in the campsite and everyone very chilled and having a good time”
