Getting Here By Public Transport

Public Transport to Dadford Road Campsite

Silverstone Circuit is on the outskirts of Silverstone Village – about 7 miles from three local towns (Brackley, Towcester, Buckingham).

Silverstone is in a rural location.

Coming by car is the easiest option, if you can hire a car, and benefit from Silverstone parking and Silverstone camping at Dadford Road.

If you want to come via public transport the following may be a helpful starting point:

Trains – the nearest stations are:

Northampton (about 15 miles)

Milton Keynes (about 17 miles)

Banbury (about 16 miles)

Bicester (about 18 miles)

You will then need to get the bus or a taxi to us

Buses

Buckingham:

There is an hourly bus service that runs from Oxford to Cambridge; you would then need a taxi (7 miles)

Silverstone

    • Megabus sometimes run services to Silverstone Circuit for major events. (www.megabus.com)
    • Stagecoach runs services that run through Silverstone village.

Last time we checked it was route No 8 but we suggest you check their website – www.stagecoachbus.com

This service seems to run from Northampton – Towcester – Silverstone – Bicester – Oxford

From Silverstone village you will need to walk (or get a taxi – although only usually taxis in the village for F1 and Moto GP)   to the campsite – you need to walk towards the Silverstone Circuit main entrance and then follow the map you can find under Maps on our website. It will take you 15 – 25 mins to walk from Silverstone to our campsite depending how much luggage you have!
